Mubaloo, the British enterprise app consultancy and developer, has been taken over by IPG Mediabrands. It comes as the New York-headquartered marketing agency expands beyond consumer-facing campaigns and into the growing enterprise mobility sector.

Mubaloo, which started off in Bristol, has had a great year since being named in Real Business’ Everline Future 50 initiative in March 2015.

The company was recognised for delivering mobile support to businesses, enabling them to improve internal structures around areas like efficiency. Later in the year, Mubaloo appointed an additional female MD to take the firm forward.

Seemingly the leadership enhancement paid off, as the deal with IPG Mediabrands – which boasts 50,000 employees –will see Mubaloo join its rising mobile division Ansible.
